Company History
In 2007, MenloWare was formed to address the emerging cloud storage management market. As service providers
moved from expensive proprietary storage systems to commodity OpenStorage, they needed management software
to avoid trading capital expenditure savings for increased operational expenses. OpenStorage solutions were
immature, and didn't have an enterprise management feature set.
With the founding team's background in enterprise software and service level management, MenloWare was able to build an innovative policy-based management layer that could be used across heterogeneous storage systems. MenloWare eases the administrative burden by supporting a variety of storage platforms from a single unified console. From a Web browser you can orchestrate storage provisioning tasks across multiple systems, and monitor and administer systems through a common policy layer. MenloWare now sells its storage management software primarily to large enterprises or cloud service providers needing to manage multiple heterogeneous systems from a single console. |
